CADViewer Licensing & Subscription Overview
Our licensing is primarily subscription-based, designed to provide you with continuous value, updates, and support. Your subscription includes all new versions with the functionality you have licensed, and you can easily add new modules or scale your user base as you grow.
There are two primary calculation modes for licensing CADViewer:
1. CADViewer Server Licensing
A flexible server-based licensing model starting with a base configuration. The fee can be adjusted based on:
- CADViewer Core Components
Fully integrated viewing and annotations for AutoCAD DWG/DXF with base API
Additional Modules:
- Extended Format Controls & Legacy Packages
- Encapsulation into VizQuery
- Additional Packages and APIs (e.g., Space Management, CAFM/IWMS Extraction)
- AI Interfaces (CADViewer AI Assistant, Analytic Model)
- SaaS Application Provider Usage
- On-Premise Redistribution/Resale
- Additional Servers & Environments
- Scaling for Larger Corporations
Perpetual Licensing (Special Exception)
Perpetual licensing is exclusively available for users who can provide a fixed MAC/IP environment (non-containerized) or alternative under a fixed domain, under a contract.
- An optional 25% annual support and maintenance fee is available.
- Perpetual users who choose not to maintain active support can upgrade later at 50% of the current license fees (not the fees at the time of the original contract).
2. CADViewer Corporate (Application Integration)
An alternative to standard server licensing, designed for application providers integrating CADViewer directly into their closed or controlled environments. This model is suited for installations with a smaller number of users (up to a few hundred users per customer installation).
