Extended Parameters - UIC

The following parameters defines the specific methods used to manage UIC (University of Chicago) content.

UIC Parameters
UIC Create a UIC Custom-formatted JSON file
UICDRAWINGS Create UIC-specific Drawings with Shaded areas and Legends
UICSCAN Create UIC-specific search.json file for all DWG files in the Input Directory
LAYOUT Extension to the standard Layout parameter for UIC layouts

UIC Data

PARAMETER UIC
Purpose This parameter controls whether the UIC JSON Data File is created from a CSV or Excel file
Example -UIC
Alias -UICDATA
Required dwg_room_attr_with_dp_names.csv and rmcat and rmtype.csv (or their xlsx equivalent) are required in the same directory as the Input DWG file
Use No graphic processing is performed. A CSV or Excel file is read, and a JSON file is created
Usage <input file>.dwg -uic -lpath=<license file location> -rl=RM$ -tl=RM$TXT

UIC DRAWING

PARAMETER UICDRAWING
Purpose This parameter controls whether the UIC-specific Hatch Layers and Legend are added to the drawing. The location of the Legend is determined by the Layout being converted.
Example -UICDRAWINGS
Alias None
Use SVG
Usage <input file>.dwg -uicdrawing -lpath=<license file location> -rl=RM$ -tl=RM$TXT -layout=*UIC* -opacity=.5

UIC SCAN

PARAMETER UICSCAN
Purpose This parameter causes a scan of all DWG drawings in a given directory (as listed by the -ID parameter) to create a Visual Query "search.json" file containing building and room data for all processed DWG files.
Example -UICSCAN
Alias None
Use SVG
Usage -id=<input directory> -uicscan -lpath=<license file location>

LAYOUT

PARAMETER LAYOUT
Purpose This parameter has been extended to support Custom Operations with UIC Layouts. If the Layout Name is *UIC*, the program determines which layout is actually used: 8L, 8P, 11L, or 11P. One, and only one, of those layouts will be defined in the drawing, and AutoXChange will select the proper one.
Example -LAYOUT="*UIC*"
Alias None
Use With all graphic formats
