Freehand Redline

The freehand redline commmands draw on the canvas following movements of mouse of stylus pencil on a device. Press [Esc] to exit alternatively click the (grayed) freehand redline command on the top iconbar to discontinue.

To enable fast handwriting on devices, the freehand algorithm captures hand movements first, and when the mouse/stylus is raised, it does a spline optimization of the line segments in the drawn redline.
